“The north facing design encompasses the kitchen as the hub, with a large island bench plus more formal dining area and has copious natural light. The living area to the east protected from the sun and the play area for our small children with a recessed fish tank in the wall surrounded by hidden storage cupboards.”
The new openings with iron frame and fixed glass contrast with the existing ones, which were treated with a chestnut wood. The entrance garden has been enhanced with reclaimed flagstones, wood benches, ivy and lavender, for a simple but hearty welcome.
The ground floor is an open space with a continuous pavement, where the dining room, the kitchen and the living area are located. First level accommodates three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second floor was also turned into an open space, flooded in natural light through skylights and a cut in the cover that originates a small terrace with beautiful views to Finisterre and the Carnota bay.
